The 2021 Climate Change Summit (COP26) presented to us all the immediate need for change in our global production of greenhouse gases. As a technology developer in the Computer Aided Engineering sector, GRM Consulting thrives on innovation and solving challenges. Never has there been such an important time to innovate and find solutions to the global climate challenge. We have listened to the need to act now and have defined our roadmap to being a carbon neutral business.
As an important first step, in August 2021, GRM signed up to the Climate Pledge, committing to net zero by 2040. At GRM we hope our actions, along with other signatories, will inspire others to do the same. Our ambitions are to better the timings set out in the Climate Pledge, achieving Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions reduction targets by the end of 2022 through significant infrastructure investment., Achieving Scope 3 reductions will be our greatest challenge, and we seek to work with customers and suppliers committed to our common goals.
