GRM Consulting Ltd, with the support of Red Bull Advanced Tech and a UK based Formula 1™ team are collaborating to develop and implement composite optimisation algorithms with the Abaqus non-linear solver.
Successful completion of the OPTIMA project will see the delivery of a new product, OptiAssist for Abaqus. OptiAssist for Abaqus will enable Abaqus users to develop improved composite designs through the application of OptiAssist’s proven ply shape and laminate optimisation techniques.
